Intro:
“Hello World”, more specifically; “Hello Introverts”! Welcome to the i-Introvert blog; this is our place to learn, embrace and celebrate this trait! Before I dive into details, here’s a little bit about myself.
About Me:
It’s probably no surprise, I’m an introvert; although being an introvert is not too unique in the grand scheme of things to other introverts, it is, however, a unique trait that has many quirks. Each introvert is unique in their own way(s). What makes me unique is my perspective and experience with this trait. I work in the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) field, as an inspector. In this career, I work with thousands of people from many different backgrounds (and traits). It also puts me in a position that ultimately goes against the typical traits of being an introvert (shy, reserved, and quiet). Having found my career first; I ultimately didn’t find my “trait “or who I am first. This was a long hard road of discovery filled with many setbacks and personality clashes; some of this continues to this day, however, I have learned strategies to overcome some of the hurdles.
Blog Contents:
I felt compelled to start this blog because I would like to take the opportunity to help navigate the way for introverts. It’s also an opportunity for fellow extroverts out there to peer into our world (welcome aboard!). I’m also cracking my personal diary open, to share my experience along the way. At the time of this creation, I’m also an aspiring writer, so this is another avenue to hone the craft.
This blog will have a bit of everything, articles, tools, self-help/coaching, and a bit of humor splashed in. This is the initial content I have in mind, and it will most definitely evolve and expand over time.
